Diamond colour is a reflection of rarity and value. The colour of a diamond is marked alphabetically and ranges from:

  2. Near colourless (marked from G to J)
  3. With slight tints(marked from K to M)
  4. Very light yellow(marked from N to R)
  5. Yellow( marked from S to Z)

The quality of diamonds ranges from completely flawless to very stained diamonds. The highest diamonds are ranked as FL or completely flawless to WS1/WS2 to SI1/SI2 to I1, I2 and I3 where I3 is the least clear diamond.

The diamond carat denotes the weight of the Diamond and usually is between 0.03 carat to 8 carat(a specific carat range provided by Semparia has to be added ).
